Our breeding program focuses on raising foundation and performance bred quarter horses with disposition, conformation,
versatility, performance ability and the added bonus of COLOR! Focusing on bloodlines that founded the cutting, reining and
reined cow horse world.

Raising duns, grullas, and other dilute colors! We believe in the foundation, bulldog quarter horse of old, the bloodlines that
produced todays hottest performers! And we believe that it is possible to have bloodlines, conformation, brains, athletic ability
and color all in one package!!  We may not have quantity but we are passionate about our quarter horses and work hard to
produce
quality! Our bloodlines include foundation bloodlines of Poco Bueno, Doc Bar, Zan Parr Bar, Harlans Tyree, Two Eyed
Jack as well as the more modern day bloodlines of Hollywood Dun It, Marthas Mega Jac, Shining Spark, Holidoc and more!

While we did enjoy a brief year of co-owning and showing a Hollywood Dun It reining stud, we have chosen not to be involved
with showing at this time.  However, we believe our horses have the potential and breeding to make them excellent
performance prospects.    We are working hard to add broodmares and future broodmares with strong performance and
foundation bloodlines to our breeding program.  Along with building our broodmare band, we are also breeding to top
performance bred stallions to produce the quality performance prospect the client is looking for.

We strive to produce quality prospects that given the opportunity will do well in the performance arena and prove themselves
no matter which direction the client chooses to take them! So please check out our program and horses and please continue to
check back with us for updates and pictures as we continue to grow and develop our program!!

DCQH Quick Update!
Pictures taken April 9th, 2008 if you can believe it.  We were hit with
a major snowstorm this last weekend while I was away at the
Central MN Horse Fest in St. Cloud.  Over a foot of snow was
dumped on us and as I sit here and update the site we are getting
hit with ANOTHER winter blast.  Another 6-8 inches on top of what is
pictured.  You would think it was January not middle of April almost.
Makes this southern belle ready to load up the UHAUL and horse
trailer and head SOUTH!  And as you can see the girls were
wondering why their shelter wasn't finished!!
Foal Watch News
HE'S HERE!!!
Jazzy foaled a big energetic dun colt on 4-16-08! >>
She tricked us....we weren't quite expecting him for a
few days.  She is going to be one of those mares that is
sneaky...she doesn't show a whole of signs, but all
went well and momma and baby are both doing well.
Born at about 8am and it was a sunny fairly warm
morning!  He is about 2 hours old in this picture.

Check out the foals page for more information and
pictures!

<<   Another blast from old man winter and
it is almost May!! But "Ziggy" seems to do
okay with it all!  I kept him in his blanket and
he and momma rode out the storm in the
shelter most of the time.  Sure ready for
spring around here!
First time out of the stall.  We took Jazz and the colt out
for a little exercise in the pen. It has been a really late
spring and everything is very wet and water logged after
two snowstorms in less than a week!  In April no less!! I
dubbed him "Ziggy" as he likes to zig zag all over and is
very energetic!
