Dream Catcher Quarter Horses began in the mind of a young girl who dreamed of raising horses when she "grew" up.  She used to say she would have
one of every color!!  Growing up with a mother who loved horses and living on a cattle ranch, working cattle and spending endless hours on horseback
roaming the back roads, cemented her love and passion for horses.

Psalm 37:7 "Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him..."

Since those days it has been a long journey to get where she is today.  There have been ups and downs along the way but the dream has never died.
The love and passion for horses remains, along with a growing admiration and love of the quarter horse and the sport of
Reining.
DCQH is working hard to establish its program, raising solid, dependable, athletic foundation and performance bred horses that can meet the needs of
the client, whether it be as a riding horse, working cow horse or performer!!

Since it's beginnings DCQH has undergone some changes!  Due to changes in my husbands career we had to sell our ranch and make some moves. Most
of the broodmare band was sold at that time but we have been slowly working toward rebuilding our herd! We were proud of the herd we had put
together but look at it as an opportunity to come back stronger and better than ever, with more emphasis on Reining and strong performance bloodlines!

DCQH is working hard towards building a quality breeding program, please check out our expected
2009 foals on the Foals page and please check back
with us as we continue to grow!

"God gives the best to those who leave the choice to Him."
DCQH has been blessed with a beautiful new home.  We moved in September 2008. We are so excited and are so
very thankful!  We have added a large corral and run in shed beside the pond here since this picture!
Just the first of many building projects!
Buck
This is old Buck.  He is an old boy in this picture.  We spent countless hours
riding the back country roads and trails together.  He was a good cow
horse too and we worked cattle with him a lot.  Before we got him he was a
roping horse!

I got him when I was 16, he was about 12 and he died a few years ago at
the ripe old age of about 30!  I have had many horses and good ones in my
life, but he will always hold a special spot in my heart.
There have been many other blessings in our lives. In November 2005 we welcomed the birth of our first
child, Trinity Hope and in May 2008 we welcomed baby Tristan. They are the light of our lives!
Our biggest blessings!

Trinity's first
horseback ride!
My friend and horse buddy Naomi and her folks
had us over for a memorial day cookout and
Trinity's first horseback ride!  My little cowgirl's
face lit up the minute she saw the "orseys" as she
calls them!  Cody is 21 years young and Naomi's
bomb proof trail riding/gaming horse!  He very
patiently undertook the job of calmly walking
around in small circles in the yard with his precious
young cargo!  Who you can see by the look on her
face
loved her horseback ride! We were all amazed
at how
unafraid she was.  She was delighted and
not afraid at all.   I told everyone it was inevitable.
It was "genetics".  She is a natural born horse
lover. You can see it in her face when she sees
them!! My precious little cowgirl!  May she enjoy
many blessed years of horse fun!
In loving memory of "Pup" Vidal
Sadly we lost our dear "Pup" in April 2006. She was our first
"baby"! We got her when she was 8wks old and lost her
when she was 11yrs old. We almost lost her in early 2005 to
diabetes/pancreatitis, but were blessed to be given another
year with her. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't
think of her. There will never be another
"Hound Dawg"

1st Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It
is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not
delight in evil but rejoices with truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.
