1-2008 Update:  Jacsy just continues to improve. I can't say
enough about her. She has such a great disposition and
attitude. Very easy going and nice mare to be around.  She is
filling out and growing nicely.  Will be a nice mare with lots of
muscle and a great conformation.  I look forward to getting her
broke this spring/summer and putting some light riding on her.
Next year we will breed her to a son of Nu Chex to Cash!  What
a nice cross that will be!
We are very excited about Jacsy.  She is a nice
filly out of Blondy our buckskin mare and a grulla
son of
Marthas Mega Jac! She has an
outstanding combination of solid foundation
bloodlines combined with the modern day proven
performance bloodlines!  We are anxious to
watch her mature and are sure she will be a
wonderful asset to our breeding program in the
future.  So far she is exhibiting the same laid
back disposition as her dam and is very easy
going and adjusts to new things very well. We
are proud to be able to add her to our
broodmare line up as a future broodmare
prospect, along with her
full sister! Blondy gave
us another beautiful filly!  Check
out Sassy on
the broodmares page.

Well the weather is a bit nicer
now...a whole 48 degrees!! You
wouldn't know it by looking at her in
the picture but I spent the better
part of an hour grooming her and
trying to get some of the "fuzz" off.
She is still a shaggy bear !  I can't
wait for summer!
Jacsy is filling out and turning into a really nice filly. She has a super
disposition, very easy going and adjusts well to knew things.  I really love the
cross.  She is just a shaggy bear in these pictures...she is in the stall because
it is April 4, 2007 and 15 degrees outside with about 6 inches of snow on the
ground!! UGh...gotta love Minnesota!  So I am a wimp and put her in the stall
to work with her.  I think she may shed out a really dark black bay like her
grand sire Marthas Mega Jac!  I am anxious to see her in her summer wear! I
am very pleased with this filly and her full sister too! Check out Sassy on our
foals page!
Finally spring has sprung....sort of!
We have started working Jacsy just a
bit in the round pen.  Starting her a
little with some groundwork training.

She seems to be a quick learner and
is a pretty mover.  Still got a lot of
winter fuzz left.  I can't wait till she
totally sheds out and we get to see
what color she is under all the winter
fur.

I sacked her out today for the first
time and it didn't phase her at all.
She continues to impress me with her
calm easy going disposition.

This is one nice little mare!!

Shaggy spring pictures of
Jacsy. She hasn't totally shed
out yet and looks a bit scruffy
but you can see she is going
to be a pretty mare.
