KS Shining Keepsake X Zandora Buck 2008 AQHA Dun Colt
4-16-08 Newborn photo
This colt has a lot going for him. Conformation, proven performance pedigree and the bonus of color. He should make an excellent Reining/Working Cow horse prospect with Genuine Doc, Shining Spark, Diamonds Sparkle, Holidoc and Zans Sassy Jack ON his papers. . He has a cute head, great conformation and nice dun color. Could be a stallion prospect. He has a strong performance pedigree behind him going back to Carol Rose and Pitzer Ranch breeding. Not to mention Holidoc- earner of $120,054 (NCHA $93,140). This colt should excel in any direction he is taken. Check information on his sire and dam and Grand Sire Shining Spark and Great Great Grand Sire Holidoc below! |

"Shining Dream Doc" (AQHA pending) "Ziggy" Jazzy foaled a nice big dun stud colt on 4-16-08. He has great conformation, cute head, and a cute half star and just a bit of a strip on his nose, a white hind pastern and coronet. He is big and energetic and already zigging and zagging all over the pen in spite of the wet and mush.
"Ziggy" as I have decided to call him, got to explore the outside real world for the first time. It wasn't the best day...cloudy and cool, but he had fun "zig" "zagging" around! We have had a very late spring and things are pretty muddy and wet. We are having a hard time getting good pictures but will continue to update them as weather allows!

Well hard to believe~it is almost May 1st and we have had our THIRD snowstorm for the month of April! It has just been miserable weather all month. In about three weeks we have gotten three winter storms dumping wind, sleet and about 2 feet of snow. Jazzy and Ziggy rode it out okay. I managed to get a few pictures of him the day after the two day storm ended. It sure has been hard to get good pictures of him but he is filling out nicely and looking really good. His sire really puts nice muscle, heads and temperaments on his foals and this little guy is proving to be another good one by him!

May 5, 2008 and spring has still barely sprung!! It has been hard to get decent pictures with all the snow and rain and cloudy weather. But today we actually had a bit of SUNshine and so I managed to get a few updated pictures of Ziggy. Please ignore the mud and muck. We haven't even been able to begin spring clean-up! Everything is such a mess right now and I am just waiting for drier weather to get in and start cleaning the pens. It will be so nice when we finally get green grass and leaves on the trees as well!! But as you can see Ziggy is filling out nicely and growing, we will continue to update pictures and information on him as we can!!
